IB9TV — India Broadcasting 9TV

IB9TV brings India’s news together in one place, in the language you read best. Every story is grouped, ranked and kept fresh through the day, from publishers and news channels across the country, in six editions: English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.

What you’ll find

  • Your language, your edition — switch between English, हिन्दी, తెలుగు, ಕನ್ನಡ, தமிழ் and മലയാളം at the top of any page. Each edition is made from publishers who write in that language, not from machine translations.
  • Breaking news, all day — national, world, politics, business, startups, technology, science, sports, cricket, entertainment, health, lifestyle, automobile and education, ranked by how fresh a story is and how many publishers are covering it.
  • Watch — the latest bulletins and reports from India’s TV news channels, in each language.
  • News near you — stories from your city first, then your district and state.
  • One story, many sources — when several publishers report the same event, we group their reports so you see it once and can compare how each covers it.

How it works

IB9TV is a news aggregator. We read the public news feeds that publishers make available and show each story’s headline, a short summary, an image and the name of the publisher. Open a story to read it in full on the publisher’s own website. Where a publisher has given us permission, you can read the full article on IB9TV, always credited to them. Videos play through YouTube’s player and stay credited to their channel.

We don’t rewrite other publishers’ stories, and we don’t copy content from websites that haven’t made it available to us.

What we stand for

  • Credit where it’s due. Publishers and channels do the hard work of reporting. We name them on every story and send readers to them.
  • Every language counts. Most Indians read the news in their own language, so each of our editions gets the same care as English.
  • Respect for your time and your data. You can read IB9TV without an account, and we collect only what we need to run the service. Read our Privacy Policy.
