Hatadihi: Police arrested three alleged ganja traffickers and seized 20.8 kg of ganja, gold and silver ornaments, RS3.93 lakh in cash and an electric scooter in Kendujhar district Wednesday.
The accused were identified as Jagannath Mallik, 27, and Prakash Kumar Nayak, 43, and Sanyasi Charan Nayak, 39.
Police intercepted the trio on the Ana canal road near Hatadihi tehsil office while they were travelling towards Bhadrak from Anandapur.
The seized ganja is estimated to be worth Rs 1.26 lakh.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the source and destination of the consignment and possible links to a wider trafficking network.
