Captain Virat Kohli clarified about why Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not mentioned in the Indian T20 squad. Virat said that Dhoni was willing to give more opportunities for the boys like Rishabh Pant.
“The selectors have already talked about Dhoni’s affair. I do not have to explain it now. The selectors talked about what actually happened. I’m not part of that process. Most people are looking at every aspect of the community. There is no such thing. As captain I confirm this. Dhoni is still a major player in the team. Dhoni felt hoping to get more opportunities for a younger player like Pant in the 20s. His intention was to help the guys. Dhoni is a regular player in ODIs.
Speaking on the sidelines of the ODI series, Windies said: “This series has a good pace in the form of Khalil. In the fourth place, Rayudu played maturely with the opportunities he used to make. We have big advantages in this series “.
